Try Lavender Sugar in baking (switch this sugar for the one in your recipe) to give your cookies, bread, or muffins a slight lavender flavor. You can also use this to sweeten tea or to make a simple syrup, which you need for lavender lemonade and lavender mixed drinks. If you prefer a little more control in your recipe, try our culinary lavender.

Simple Syrup Recipe:

  • Mix 1 cup of lavender sugar with 1 cup water. 
  • Bring to a boil and boil for about 1 minute until augar is dissolved.
  • Strain lavender through a fine colandar or cheesecloth

For Lavender Lemonade:

  • Follow the above steps and then add 1 cup lemon juice and 2 cups cold water

Tip: Freeze simple syrup in ice cube trays and then put them in a zip lock in your freezer to be used to sweeten tea or coffee.
